And that is where this course comes in.
I am bringing all my knowledge and experience as a senior leader i/c teaching and learning, an academic looking at lesson observations and a researcher who supported OFSTED on their latest lesson observation design for the new EIF. And sharing it with you.
To help you explore and discover ways of doing observations that you and your staff will love.
It is a cours
e that will make you love lesson observations...and give them the care they need to support and develop teaching and learning in your school.
We know lesson observations are a big part of our educational landscape. That what teachers do in the classroom is the most important aspect for students. Yet, finding the training and support to do them well was difficult and many of us have had to figure it out alone.
I am going to put a wealth of lesson observation knowledge in your poc
ket, with a course you can do on your phone (or computer). It's a self-guided course that connects you with the key questions and research you need to design great lesson observation systems. It is broken down into tutorials that are short enough to be read during break duty, but builds through text, video and links into the equivalent of a full day's INSET. It will support you through the key decisions you have to make when designing observations.
You can also run this course as a one day, half term or full year set
of professional development sessions for staff. When you sign up I'll send you three free worksheets to show you how you can structure the course to be delivered in this way.
Or you can work through it at your own pace...and in your pyjamas.
And as you have access to it for a full year you come back to it when you want too.
Plus signing up gives you access to a closed facebook group - where you can send questions and discuss ideas.
I'm really excited to support you on your journey to designing great lesson observations.
